Born and raised on the Charleston Coast, Betty Poore is a phenomenon of energy, experience, and success. “When I started in the business, Kiawah and Seabrook were in early development, and Wild Dunes was just getting started. It was a great time to live and work here. It still is," says Betty.

How does she do it? Simple. “Buyers and sellers have always wanted actionable information, consistent service, meaningful communication, and professional experience, and that’s what I try to deliver each and every day.”

For more than 40 years (and still counting) Betty has magically transformed buyers and sellers into “friends.” She loves her golf, her workouts, her husband’s cooking ... and the occasional glass of wine.

“My mom, Toddy Poore, was a pioneer in the Charleston real estate market, a single mother with six kids and a full-time job. I’d like to think I’m continuing her tradition, walking in her footsteps ... except for the six kids, of course. There are no shortcuts in this business. Not if you’re going to do it right. My mom taught me that, and I try to live by that approach every day.”

Donna Bell has been a valuable asset to the Isle of Palms real estate community for many years. She was raised in Mount Pleasant, and she (and her husband, Dick) still live there today. She joined the dunes properties family in early 2015 and has worked as Betty Poore's right hand and administrator ever since.
